I've recently left a traditional office job and am trying to build up a mobile notary/loan document signing agent business. I've been doing the latter on the side for about thirteen years and have closed thousands of signings (probably in the neighborhood of 2000?) but I've only ever worked with a handful of signing companies (and briefly when I began, I had premium listings on sites like Notary Rotary to be found out). Currently, I only work with one signing service, but I'm looking to register with more to get more signing opportunities. Most, however, ask for recommendation letters and/or references to register with them. I'm not sure how to supply these. Since I've only worked through a placement service, I don't feel like I leave enough of an impression on people or, frankly, spend enough time with them, to use them as a reference. Anyone have suggestions? |
