Guaranteed Rate just last week. Supposed to be the borrowers signed all the documents online except for those needing notarization. When I got there, Ms. first time homebuyer pulls out her laptop and says..."My agent said we were supposed to sign these online yesterday, except for the ones that need to be notarized, but, we didn't. We just were too busy and didn't have the time. We were hoping you would go through everything with us online."
Really?
But, we got the agent on the line and compared the online docs with my hard copy of the docs. My hard copy had notary docs and non-notary docs. Agent said just sign the hard copy and forget about the online ones. Exact same number of pages.
Heard the agent yelling at her on the phone, "What do you mean you didn't sign them yesterday? You were too busy?"
Will be interesting to see how this works out.....
