I have a problem when the guidelines begin with stating that if packages come in at over 200 pages the fee is non-negotiable. They are used to packages coming in big and refuse to compensate the one incurring the expense and having to set at the table all night.
Also, I countered back double what she said she had approved. She accepted it immediately instead of what you expect from an SS... “I’ll see if I can get that approved.” There was more than one red flag. Then, she writes back a snarky condescending comment.
If you guys are working for her awful fees you must have to work a lot to pay a bill.
Maybe it is all in attitude and what one will put up with in this world. I would do something else before I sold out for low fees and working early morning til past bedtime to make a living at this. I guess I never did put up with much in the way of being mistreated or cheated. I may have missed out on a good job here and there over my career for passing up some companies, but no one owes me any money and I work less than most and still make more money at it. |
