I have run into this situation a few times in this past year. On most my profiles it states extra print fee $25.00 over 150 pages...these packages come in and 175+ pages and I ask for more money for the print fee x 2 and they have their policy set at over 200 pages. WTH? It always used to be standard at 150 pages, now they raise it to 200+ and still expect a notary to sign for $90.00. I don't think so. I usually manage to negotiate to a medium fee in the middle of what I want and they are willing to pay, otherwise, they get this back. Truthfully a majority of these packages can be cleaned up on their end (we are not allowed). We dont need to be printing tool books and 32 pages of VA instructions, 3 CD's for the borrower, their hazard insurance policies that haven't changed. Years ago some companies would lean up the buyer's copy and omit a lot of things and made it more stream lined for them and easier on us. I haven't seen that in years. |
