I've often thought about being a RM LO .. and when you mentioned AAG I thought about it some more. But since you're caring for an ill husband and need income right away, I would certainly steer you away from trying to get started as a mobile notary. It takes a loooog time to build up a clientele that pays fairly …. (cos sometimes they don't pay at all). This is not an instant gratification profession. Maybe a drib here and a drab there to get started is what you might expect.
