My long-term goal is to parley my loan signing/notary skills (detail, people skills, motoring skills and problem solving) into something way more enjoyable, profitable and beneficial, like a part time job at a winery pouring the nectar of the Gods, landscape design, arborist, any number of things. If I were set up for it, I would consider becoming a foster mom.
This work is not what it used to be 20 years ago. I had a signing last night at 8pm. I was on the watch for the docs all day long, they never arrived. When I returned to check on them, they had disappeared from my app, no call. I was already at a signing, it was cutting it close, but I thought I could make it and then POOF! gone. I needn't have stressed with the previous signing.
I'm sorry to hear your husband is battling cancer. That all by itself is very stressful.
