However, considering time involved (guessing approx. 1-1/2 to 2 hours) for journaling 50 affidavits and completing 50 notarial certs (which may not be California-compliant so may have to attach a separate cert) THEN take all docs and scan them back to hiring party THEN go out again to drop package, I quoted $800. She said, "Oh Wow! Wasn't expecting that high a fee for our biggest client." Explained the breakdown to her and she said she was shopping around and had gotten a quote for $125. Wonder if that notary realized the scope of this assignment??
Good to know I wasn't that far off the mark (even for Linda in FL who hasn't moved but recognizes our worth and scope of assignment)  . Thank you all for your input!
BTW, hiring party was Lexitas who does court reporting, requests records (guessing this is what those affidavits are about).
