I'd guess that Subordination Agreements are among the most often missed documents in a loan package. Perhaps, since interest rates were so low for so long, many people with second mortgages (or HELOCs ) have refinanced and paid them off, so they're not as common as they used to be and the folks handling the loan either forget or don't realize they need one. Regardless, it's pretty low to act like it's the notary's fault when it was never sent to us in the first place.
Changing the number of signature lines on a Deed is a new low, though. I guess these events just prove that 'stuff' rolls down hill... But that's no excuse. |
