| Unless my read of things is wrong, if you choose not to work out of fear, despite being exempt from the shutdown, then you wouldn't qualify for unemployment benefits. You or someone you live with would have to test positive or you would have to otherwise be ordered to isolate due to exposure to someone known to have the virus, at which time you would qualify during your isolation period. |
