Pegi, clearly you are free to do whatever you choose, but I don't understand why you are promoting the idea that others should make the same choice you've made.
My decision to stay at home does not impact anyone else, except to the extent it might prevent some inadvertent spread. However, those of you who have decided to continue to go out and do appointments - some in disregard to 'stay at home' orders - might contribute to the spread, in spite of your best intentions and efforts. This is just fact, because no one can know for sure at this point. The experts are giving people the best advice they can, based on what they know at the moment, but more is being learned all the time.
One thing seems clear to me, though. The more people who are exempted (or who decide to exempt themselves), the longer it will take to bring this under control - and the more hardship the rest will have to endure. This is not fear mongering. It's just an observation based on facts.
