At least once a week I notice some flaw in the docs.
This week there was one signing with the names spelled wrong, one missing insurance from the escrow impounds, and another with a spouse completely missing from the docs (NC requires spouse to sign some docs on a refi).
As usual, I got no pat on the back or Thank You for preventing a problem.
And yet, I keep seeing instructions that threaten my fee if I make an error.
Par for the course.
