Since starting this journey 1/2006, I've always been a Brother user. I've gone through 2 (now defunct) Brothers and currently have 2. Curious about the point you bring up, I googled for monthly duty cycle for my current printers and this is what I found:

HL5370DWT --30,000:

MFC L-5800DWT --50,000:

Going forward, I will, of course, keep MONTHLY DUTY CYCLE in mind. Thank you so much for your post!
