Me either, never heard or knew of something like this ...but...nature always finds a way to clean house once in awhile.
The only bright side (if you can find one) is just like hurricanes, people will rebuild better and safer, all the dead limbs and such are gone, so while it's painful now, it will be better in the end. Insurance for many will replace old roofs and will be nicer than before, up to better codes. I am sad for loss of life however, that is never replaceable and nothing like this could ever be prevented or forecasted. My heart goes out to all those affected, especially during a pandemic. |
