Of course I've never seen the questions on the CA test, but I've read stories about them. It would be nice if, when they wrote the new questions, they took the opportunity to dramatically improve the quality of the questions.
I understand it's a closed book test. So the questions should be about things that are worth memorizing, like the difference between an oath and an affirmation. Questions about things you look up every 4 years when you renew you commission are inappropriate and show the test authors are incompetent and have no clue about how to create a test. And it should be sufficient to what's illegal and what's legal; questions about how long the prison term could be for a particular offense are equally inappropriate. |
