My response to this would have been "not sure what you mean, can you clarify?" - when they say they're going to read that would be it for me - follow what others said about leaving copies then going back if possible...also make sure they have their LO's number so they don't blow up YOUR phone interrupting your other signings with their questions. And THIS "They got stuck on the DOT because they saw a clause they had not seen before (they have multiple high-end properties/loans) they wanted to find the previously signed DOT to compare." would have absolutely done me in.
