Thanks! What I suspected. I think I'm going to keep extra disposable masks with me and ask N95 wearers to put a disposable one on over the one they have. Hopefully they'll understand and cooperate, if it happens. But why put at risk all the other precautions I'm taking in my life that involve significant time and effort, just so someone else doesn't have to be ever so slightly inconvenienced for one hour of their life.
As I see it, our being there is saving them a great deal more inconvenience by not having to take time off, travel to a title co office and, these days, spend time in another enclosed space with people they don't know for an unknown period of time.
And one more thing... Most people stay within their bubble, seeing the same few people from day to day. When we meet with someone, we're potentially exposed not only to them, but to everyone else within their bubble. The more individuals we come into contact with every day (i.e. the more appointments we have), the greater our risk, as we have no idea how large our exposure has been when all the folks in all those different bubbles are added up. So even if we're in an area with relatively low COVID risk, that risk is magnified by all those intersecting bubbles.
Just something else to think about...
