Why would you apologize to men and ask them to “let us” have a month? Wow. First men should be apologizing to us and actually doing the work to bring just wages and access for women (among thousands of other issues including training on how to be decent men and respect women and their bodies). Second women’s month is not a day or month to acknowledge but it’s everyday work to fight the patriarchy. Third the mentality of “letting us” do something is slave mentality. Take what is ours - humanity, dignity, respect - do not ask and certainly do not wait for the patriarchy to “let us” take it.
Never apologize for wanting equality and treatment as a human being ! Especially to the patriarchy that doesn’t give a flying F. |
