That's all a bunch of lies...They are a title company, they send out checks daily. When something is past due, you need to be on it day 31 past the closing. Give them a few days then get tough. Don't worry about losing a client, you already dumped them, you want to get paid. Take Clem's advice and you will get paid. Just do it professionally, to the point. "This is an attempt to collect a debt..." and then put all the information you can inside it including the lender, LO and the realtor...whoever.
