I see two more potential problems with how this is worded. First, embossing over the notary signature might be very difficult, given the size of most embossers, which have a minimal distance from the margin possible to affix the 'indentation'.
And second, affixing my embosser over "every document to be recorded" could be a big problem. Not only might that be in conflict with some state notary law (CA might be one, but I'd need to do some checking to be sure), I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the idea of embossing a 15 page Deed of Trust...
[The legal challenge would probably revolve around whether or not an embosser is considered like our notary seal, which we can only use in the presence of all other elements required for a compliant notary certificate in CA.]
