So true, when I started it's diving off the deep end. We all did it back in the day. You get all your stuff ready, accept that first closing, use about 50 sticky notes reviewing it, take a deep breath and you just do it. Newbies HAVE to make mistakes on their own because you learn from them. I never shadowed anyone, or even knew anyone doing closings. It's truly a lonely profession and not all people are equipped to handle the attitudes and personalities. I think the best quality a NSA can have is patience and great PR skills. If you were ever in sales, a server or a bartender, you can do it because you deal with people all the time. |
