Not sure about cell boosters, but I have a wifi network in my car that's on a different network than my cell (Mint and AT&T, respectively) so that if one is weak, I can try the other using WiFi calling. Even then, when I sometimes go into the mountains, it's a gamble. I always carry a local detailed road map in my car as a back up, get a new one every year as there's still some development going on out here.
I changed over form iPhone to Android about a year ago (though I still have my iPad, but it's not part of notary work at all) because I got tired of Apples became so slow/battery drained after a year and both my kids had had their android for 4-5 years without those issues. It took some time to get used to the difference in how they work (about three days for learning how to answer an incoming call!) but I wouldn't go back to iPhone now for anything. |
