Here's an interesting population migration map. So much for the mass exodus out of CA. Most counties show a population increase. Our county increased by 10%.

Doesn't mean there isn't movement out, just more moving in.
I feel for the 2,000 OC residents making the move with Disney to FL if they're not used to that kind of heat and humidity. We know some people who just returned from Orlando and Disneyworld who took the trip to be with some friends who had a timeshare opening. I was anxious to hear their reaction upon returning. It was basically, "No Way!" But, that's just us spoiled rotten Californians, who love to pay too much for taxes and housing! I may have to become a homeless beach bum with a shopping cart someday.... |
