Agree with Janet.
Notary can only verify that the signature and stamp are his/hers. As journal was (probably) turned in upon retirement, notary may not recall which form of ID was used. As to the contents of document, that's not the notary's purview. We just make sure there are no blanks that need to be filled in. |
