Mailing of Notary Commission Packet
Posted by  Cathy/CA of CA on 5/13/22 2:36pm Msg #640060
Hello California Notaries:

How many calendar days did it take for your Notary commission packet to arrive from when the SOS mailed it?

Per the CA SOS, it may take up to 2 weeks plus due to manual sorting (our previous POTUS appointment DeJoy who had automated sorting machines removed) of mail.

I am on mail day 7 from 30 days of my current commission expiring.
I am on mail day 5 from when the SOS mailed it.

I know of another local notary who received his commission packet 3 mail days after the SOS mailed it.
