Exactly! It is funny because this would be the 3rd closing for this company, and they averaged $115.00 for a normal package prior to this one.
This was a SD closing, so no communication except the texts, and all one-sided from me. No sleep lost.
On the flip side, I just got paid today for a $200.00 closing from SD (a different company), and was only 145 pages w/ scans.
It's nice to be treated professionally. Lowballing and trying to get away with something when tossing it out there is a sneaky way of doing business. I get they maybe do not know the size when it comes in, but at the least be willing to compensate a more than fair counter offer.
