It may have been 15 pages ish nothing more ( Old Republic Title). It Had to have been $75-$80. Anything less, I would have turned it down. I did quite a few for ORTC cuz they were super quick. The credit agreement did not require a notarization. 5 minutes and the signing was completed.
I did a horrendous HELOC years ago for Bank of Americs at a local Merrill Lynch office. 300 pages. Scan backs ( which was a surprise) I still have PTSD from the assignment. I made the brokers assistant do the scan backs. I was livid. I had the signing company on their knees begging me forgiveness.
They paid me for every minute off my time, aggravation and printing costs. It still wasn’t worth it.
It was probably the last time I ever worked for a SS ( other than Bancserv) I threw all them under the bus. Never again. It was emancipating.
