The notary business has never been a joke to me, either. You don't get good results from something you don't take seriously. Thanks in large part to this business, I'm slowly sliding into retirement 100% debt free. While that doesn't make me laugh, it does make me smile... 
That doesn't mean, however, that I'm bullish for the future of this business, especially for someone trying to break into it now for the first time. But I wouldn't insult this field, my peers (or myself) by calling what we do 'a joke'. I think you crossed the line there. And you not believing something doesn't make it untrue... |
