If I didn't buy in 2020, the same mortgage now would be almost double what it is now. The problem is with FL, the homeowner's insurance is forcing people to sell. It's doubling and tripling for most (mine doubled in 2 years with a brand new roof, and water heater). Compiled with interest rates, people can't afford it.
