I had some apostiile applications to drop off yesterday so I drove into LA. I left my home at 11am and arrived downtown 300 S. Spring Street. Parking was easy at 2:30pm one half block away. What was terribly shocking and humbling was the presence of 4 tents in the Hill street tunnel housing the homeless. On the way back home there were so many more along the freeway between buildings and freeway fencing. Homelessness is a gigantic issue in our big cities. Our own homeless camps here on the central coast pale in comparison.
Spent the night in Ojai with family snug as a bug in a guest room. LA traffic is absolute hell. Wore me out. |
