Cheryl, that's not a bad idea at all. Dog grooming, dog day spa, pet-sitting can be quite lucrative depending upon the market. I would imagine that you would have the market and the property for something like that, depending upon how convenient the location is for clients. It might be worth a consideration. Some relatives of mine in Long Island, NY do a brisk business doing exactly that. Most clients drop off their dogs before they go to work and pick them up on their way back. They provide activities, toys, grooming, and cameras in the yard for clients to view them. Most of the dogs know each other and get along well. |
