Sometimes the issue with depositing e-checks is not the paper itself. Rather, it can be how the check was cut. Look to see if there are any lines at bottom of check (under the account/routing number). If so, that may also be a cut line.

A few years ago, I was having issues with one of my e-checks not being accepted with mobile app or ATM. When I finally went inside the brick-and-mortar, the nice young teller looked at it and immediately explained the situation. Voila! No issues since. (note: I always use 20# paper)

 I use 20# paper. Some ATM machines can't read the checks -  MW/VA on 5/26/23 5:09pm
