I think what I'm looking for is what you said in your last sentence, so thanks for that!
I know the SOS doesn't send anything until the 30-day mark prior to commission expiration, but I can't remember if there was a separate notice once background check is 'passed' (vs. 'completed'). At the live scan place, they had a tough time getting an acceptable scan on all my fingers, so maybe that's what the 'completed' means. I vaguely recall the livescan was done in the afternoon and the 'completed' date shown on the SOS site is the same date. So even with my boring background and no changes, I don't believe they could complete the check within a matter of a very few hours. 
I think I'll cool my jets until the 30-day mark, then cross my fingers and see what I get. |
