I have the client pay the witness directly. Not interested in the bookkeeping involved with paying a witness through me. My witness requests almost always come from a direct signing from an out of state title/ escrow compay not a signing company.

I wouldn’t leave my house for 25.00 these days and wouldn’t expect a witness to drive and spend time for someone at such a low fee.
