| That's one of the biggest reasons so many of us were initially so opposed to SD. Instead of charging a monthly (or whatever) service fee based on volume or whatever criteria they might come up with, they decided to charge their clients on a per-assignment fee of somewhere around $10 each. No surprise that companies using that service all immediately dropped their notary fees by the same amount. It's gone downhill from there. |
