| In theory all of the identity proofing that is done online can be compromised by AI including the recorded sessions. For now that is a challenge since most deep fakes are occurring well after the fact and require a good measure of skill to pull off. But, for every deep fake there is a sloppy uneducated notary public out there to help a fraudster personally. Personal appearance is still in my mind the gold standard for identification |
