BUT, there are just too many notaries available in a very slow market and the job will most likely go to the cheapest one who has been told to take 'em all to get your name out there and then the money will start rolling in. Trust me, it won't. Everybody is hurting...Lenders/LOs, Title co.s, SS are all trying to survive the worst market in about 30 years.
There also seems to be a lot of new SS (seemingly started by notaries, LOs...probably a few laid off TC employees, too), who are starving and figure getting a big cut of many notaries fees is the way to riches.
