I agree. The attached certificate will need too much surgery so attach an Oregon short certificate of acknowledgement. Oregon has passed RULONA, just as my state, Vermont, has. The requirements for the SIGNER'S signature are very lenient; a mark or X is good enough. You don't have to follow special procedures unless the signer can't make a mark and directs someone else to sign for him/her.

With a RULONA short certificate, there is no need to say how the signer was identified. No matter whether the notary knows the signer, there was a credible witness, or an ID card, the certificate is the same. And there's no need to mention in the certificate if the signer signed with a mark.
