That makes lots of sense - at least as an explanation. As a business model for those of us still offering mobile service, not so much. (That doesn't even cover my base mobile fee for travel.)
I'm just grateful that CA raised the per-signature fee to $15 a while back. What's keeping me going right now is repeat GNW, mostly from people/businesses I've met with before. Thankfully, I have lots of years to draw from...
It's well past time for anyone in this field to be thinking of a 'Plan B' for the long term, if you haven't already. Having said that, I believe we're likely to see something of a boost whenever interest rates start going down. But be careful... I doubt it will be a 'boom' since there are still lots of homes out there with locked in 2-4% long-term interest rates and owners with little incentive to get out of those loans. And who knows how long it will last - or how much RON will continue to impact business volume.
