You may want to check your settings. You're showing up as not having linked your profile here, so we can't view it, and have no idea where you're located. A lot of it depends on where you are. If you're in one of the most populated areas, it's very possible you won't show up in the top 25. When you check that, look at where other notaries that DO show up are located. If you're seeing some show up that are located much farther than you from the city or zip you used to check, then there may be an issue with your listing. (Best way to contact the owners of this site is via Contact Us, using the form provided.)

As for whether or not you're likely to get business from this site, it also may depend on your location. I'm in Orange County, which is one of the most expensive markets for online marketing and most difficult for trying to get a site listed on the first page. (Same for LA County and several other major markets here.) I've been listed at or near the top of the list of profiles on this site for roughly two decades, and I've rarely received assignments from this site for that reason. In the past 6 months or so, that seems to have changed a little, as I've actually received a few calls from my listing here. It's been soooo slow since interest rates went up that it's hard to say... Wink

I've maintained a paid membership here (so far) because of other benefits, including discounts on supplies. Also, I don't know for sure, but is access to Signing Central limited in some way to non-paid members? If so, that's a definite value, too, even if it isn't up to date.

Finally, have you completed your profile? That may well be worth doing, especially if you're in a more rural area with fewer notaries. Put some time into giving people a reason to call you vs the next person on the list. I don't recommend you say anything that indicates you're new at this, but don't lie - or copy anyone else's profile.

If you have good access to Signing Central, you can sort it by ratings. That's a good place to start by applying to the 4 and 5 star rated companies. (Maybe the 4-star companies would be best to apply to first, as the best rated probably have a long list of very experienced notaries with lots of time on their hands. Wink) Definitely skip any companies rated less than 3 stars, as you're likely to have trouble getting paid...
