chip? Which you most likely no longer have. I have an HP and the latest cartridge is weird. Most of the time, I get an 'error message'...something to do with 'supplies', but if I press "OK" on the machine display...it prints. This never happened with any previous non-OEM cartridge. They mess with us. HP's 'Updates' scare the heck out of me.
