Analyze this situation. High profile investment purchase in a very slow business. Buyer is a cardiologist, works hard in a climate where heart attacks are on the increase. The purchase of an income property is a win/win for all parties. Top to bottom. Escrow tech misscans the package, sends to SS who doesn't take the time to look over the documents and uploads for notary late in the day. The situation exacerbated by sending to notary who hits the print button and sees that all legal pages are cut off and stops the presses. Calls SS before everyone is down for the count and is able to reach escrow remotely to get a proper scan for a signing scheduled next day at 7am.

Had I waited to print next morning, the signing would have been delayed. Buyers would have been very upset. Buyers have rigorous daytime pursuits in professional work and childcare.

Every deal in this RE climate is golden, but this one sure didn't seem to get the white glove attention it deserved.

I am happy I saved it. So were the buyers.
