how to check the ratings in Signing Central.
I think they just stop at counting stars and never bother to review the ratings or the forum link associated with each company. It seems like every week or so somebody pops up with 'Has anybody ever worked for LIA?'. A recent poster got nailed by three different companies, two of which have terrible ratings that go back pretty far, yet obviously they never checked.
If I don't know the company off hand, I will accept the job. When I check them out and they turn out to be deadbeats, I'll call them back and politely turn down the job due to the issues they have with not paying notaries. |
