How about something on how to negotiate closing fees? I think that if enough people began asking for, and getting, reasonable fees then, overall, we might get fewer of the "We pay $50/close" calls.
It IS ok to turn down a low (and sometimes insultingly low) offer. Once a company has paid someone $35-50 for a job why would they want to pay more later?
My time is worth more than that. If I accept a low offer, I have lost time that I could be marketing and make more overall.
