There are so many deaths that the morgues are full and they're stuffing the bodies into refrigerated trucks. They're about a week from having guys pushing handcarts through neighborhoods and calling, "Bring out your dead!"
The Javits Center, a huge convention hall with almost 2 million square feet of floor space, is being converted to a temporary hospital and will begin operating as such on Monday. That's how desperate the situation in NYC has become.
I don't know what math you're using, but at the rate the virus is spreading in NY, it's not hard to conclude that 30,000 ventilators will be needed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Trump recently said that a hospital only needs two or three of them. What math is HE using?
This is what's scary - he doesn't comprehend the severity of the problem, and he's dragging his feet on reacting to it. And now the latest - he's upset that some governors are not appreciating what he and his administration have been doing, so he doesn't want to deal with them. More quid pro quo. We could impeach him again, but there are bigger fish to fry right now. |
