It is not the job of the federal government to police American cities. Period, full stop. If the locals request help that's one thing, but the feds can't just decide to walk in and take over.

Not buying it. A warrant has to be specific as to an individual or individuals. You cannot go snatching random people off the street and claim to be exercising a warrant - it doesn't work that way.
You may be OK with the erosion of our 4th Amendment rights in order to chase down bogeymen, but I'm not.
