Two-thirds of Republicans still think the 2020 election was rigged, and that was back in August. January 6th was much higher, and votes were contested, and still are.
These "Patriots" thought they were defending democracy, plain and simple. There are better ways to go about it, and for that reason, all are being prosecuted now for what they did. Lives lost, control lost and history changed forever and a black mark on the Republicans.
This will never go away. It never should have happened the way it did, and the right should have taken the high road and should look ahead to 2024. |
