I have no idea of who he is or about but wasn't taught in WI schools either in the 70s. Nor was Juneteenth which I first heard of about 3 years ago, and now a Federal Holiday, but not a state one recognized. Weird. 1956, the whole country was "anti-everything", not just FL. I am not sure what your point is here, but censoring books that contain banned content in schools should be done. Public libraries, no, and it is not.
