Hemp oil is legal in all 50 states - it's even available on Amazon. CBD is still illegal in a number of states, and is not technically allowed on Amazon, but some vendors have quietly found a way around the restriction. It became legal here in TX earlier this year, which was a big deal - there are CBD stores all over the state now.
The big difference between hemp oil and CBD is the part of plant it's extracted from. CBD is extracted from the stem and leaves, and contains a small amount of THC. Hemp oil is extracted from the seeds, which do not contain any THC at all. CBD is said to be more effective than hemp; it's also more expensive. Both are supposed to work for pain relief. |
