... I will post and update everyone along the way on how it went and what I am feeling from it. I won't know until after the 2nd shot if the real deal or the placebo.
I think the good outweighs the bad in phase 3...in the very least, they will test if I had it or have it (by blood test), and then will be monitored to see what reactions I could have from it. It's a 2 out of 3 chance I get the vaccination...I will be one of the first in my age (58) to get it if the "real deal" and if I have a reaction, will be closely monitored to help others under medical care. To my knowledge, I don't think anyone has died from a clinical trial. I also read they will monitor me for 2 years after to see how long the vaccination remains effective. It's a total of 8 visits, so I am excited. First step is Saturday and passed the prequalification, see what happens. |
