Yes, you should have plenty of hummers, both the migraters and those with permanent residence in FL. Once you attract them they will come around. We used to only put out a couple of low hanging feeders and that didn't really attract them and we were constantly moving them due to ants.
This feeder below is on sale and both we and the birds love them. There is a ring around the base so the birds will perch and eat and eat and eat. We often have five birds per feeder. Also, there is about a 1 inch recessed top where the hook attaches. We fill that with water each time we rinse, fill and re-hang the feeders. Ant problem gone!
Hummers are smart and will return to the same flowers or feeders to eat. I've seen them fly away to trees about 100 yards away back and forth.
I have the cover off my hot house and strung a cable lengthwise, tied it close to the top bar with zip ties. Instead of trimming the zip ties short I turned them sideways to use as a perch. They fit the bird's feet perfectly and they love to perch on them.
